Electronic Arts has announced that PopCap’s third-person multiplayer-only shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is headed to PC on June 24, 2014 in North America and on June 27 in Europe.
The game was previously launched on February, 2014 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but the reports of a PC version were in discussion for quite long.
The PC version will come packed with two free DLCs available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game. All the additional content from Garden Variety Pack and Zomboss Down will be included in the PC version including The Gnome Bomb game mode, Chomp Town map, eight new classes, increased level cap, and different customization options.
The producer of the game seemed pretty excited about the PC version and stated that they received an overwhelming response from game’s console counterparts:
We’ve had an amazing response from players since launching the Xbox platforms, and can’t wait for PC players to join the party this summer. The PC version has all the great content that we have put out since launch like Garden Variety and Zomboss Down for players to enjoy from the start.
The interested ones can purchase the game off Origin’s Digital Distribution or selected retailers. The Digital Deluxe Version will set you back £34.99 and will include two booster packs, 80,000 in-game coins, and an all-new customization pack; exclusively for PC.
Now that PC version has been announced, maybe Electronic Arts can finally bring out some news related to Playstation counterparts, it’s been a part of discussion along with PC version.
