There’s no question to the fact that Project CARS is looking to be a visually stunning game. The latest reveal empowers that notion and once again brings to light as to just how incredible the game’s visuals are when mixed with its weather system.
A video uploaded by YouTube member Hannes Wetterauer shows off all the different weather settings that the game currently supports. That includes thunderstorms, rain, fog and more.
The weather effects are still far from being finalized though with some amount of polishing still left to be made, specially to the water effects.
Project CARS or (Community Assisted Racing Simulator) is planned for a release in November of this year for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and SteamOS. With the game being so visually sound, one has to ask how much will the Wii U version be toned down.
The game is being developed by Slightly Mad Studios and was originally intended for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. With the advent of the new consoles, the studio decided on revamping their agenda and announced that the development for the last-gen consoles has been scrapped. The game is a product of crowd and self funding, and without the aid of a publisher.
