Mojang has just announced that their paid private-server service for Minecraft is now live in North America.
Minecraft Realm will allow players to buy servers to set up their private games for up to 20 players. The subscription fee starts at $13 per month and will provide uninterrupted servers for twenty-four hours.
Realms is the easiest way for you to host a Minecraft world online. You and your friends can work on an awesome creation, adventure into the depths, or play one of our featured mini-games with just a few clicks.
Furthermore, these servers can be restored to an earlier point in case if something goes wrong. The only downside is that Realms is only available on PC as of this moment, but Mojang has promised to bring it to other platforms in the near future.
Countries where Minecraft Realms is currently available include United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Norway, Mexico, North America, Hungary, and others.

In related news, Mojang has announced a Release Window for Minecraft: Playstation 4 Edition and Minecraft: Playstation Vita Edition. Mojang has also stated that the developer is currently considering the possibilities of content transfer and cross-buy.
