Just a week ago, the developer of Archlord 2 announced that they will be hosting a closed beta of their upcoming title this summer in June. There is one problem though, all of the players who get registered will not be a part of the beta but instead users will be picked up via lottery.
Players who have played original Archlord within the last three months are being encouraged by developers to participate in the closed beta with their existing accounts as they will be granted a confirmed entry into the beta of the sequel.
The developer Webzen describe the game as:
Archlord 2 is a medieval fantasy-based MMORPG that takes place in the mysterious and dangerous world of Chantra,” Webzen explains. “Players will join in a never-ending conflict between the two opposing factions of the Azuni and the Crunn.
They will be able to satisfy their thirst for power by participating in enormous PvP battles holding up to 400 players and fighting to claim the ultimate prize and to become the Archlord — the world’s supreme ruler.
As the devs mentioned above, you will have to survive in battle against 400 players to become an Archlord. This task will be made easier with the help of number of unique weapons and dragon mounts that will be available in the game. You will join the battle where two forces named as Azuni and Crunn are at each other’s throat in an eternal battle for supremacy.
Are you going to take part in the upcoming beta of Archlord 2?
