French website Gameblog has reported that Nintendo of Europe is going to bring a Wii U hardware bundle for their upcoming title Mario Kart 8. In the bundle there will a 32 GB black Wii U console, Gamepad and the trial of seven days for the Wii U Karaoke app.
According to the image posted on the website, which you can see below, the package will be available at the price €299. However, there is no confirmation of any sort for this news, so it should be taken as just a rumor until Nintendo officially announce something.
In the latest entry of the infamous Mario Kart franchise, the developer claims that players will have to rely more on their skills rather than luck. The game will feature 32 courses to race on with the inclusion of some new fan favorite characters and items.
The gameplay of Mario Kart 8 will feel similar to anyone who has played previous games in the series with some small tweaks. One new major feature includes anti-gravity playthroughs where players will be able to drive up on the walls and ceilings. Up to 12 players can participate in the local and online multiplayer mode of the game.
Mario Kart 8 hit the shelves at the end of next month on May 30th exclusively for Wii U.
