Watch Dogs Wii U Version Releasing This Fall, A Uplay Listing Suggests

There was a lot of speculation going around about Watch Dogs for Wii U being cancelled, but Ubisoft confirmed last month that there will definitely be a Wii U version of the game but it will release after the initial release on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC on 27th of May.

So far, there was no word on when exactly the Wii U players will be getting their hands on the open world classic, but now a listing on Uplay has popped up which indicates that the Watch Dogs Wii U version will release in fall of this year.

The delay in Wii U version was very much expected by the Nintendo fans because the game is not being developed by Montreal Studio, instead the development is being handled by Bucharest Studio of Ubisoft in Romania.

We just hope that this additional time in release is put to good use to add some unique features that matches the Wii U console.

However, it is quite a possibility that players who own multiple consoles will not wait for the Watch Dogs Wii U version because the game is one of the biggest releases of 2014.

There has been a lot of hype for Watch Dogs and players just can’t wait to get their hands on the title but we will have to wait and see if Ubisoft delivers on its promises.
