PAX East 2014 to Bring a New AAA Title by 2K Games and Firaxis Tomorrow

You must remember Firaxis Games, the developing studio founded by Sid Meier and Jeff Briggs. The developer has something new in store for us come PAX East 2014. The Maryland based studio will be announcing a new AAA title that will be published by 2K Games, the parent company of Firaxis.

The announcement came through a post on the official blog of publisher 2K Games where they invited everyone to be at their booths number 962 and 924.

Although they didn’t give away anything that would tell us what the game is about, we have been told that the announcement will be made at the Firaxis Games Mega Panel that kicks off at 11.30AM on Saturday, April 12 in the DragonFly Theatre.

That is not all that 2K Games has planned for the PAX East 2014. Their upcoming multiplayer shooter, Evolve will be playable at the event. You will first get to watch an exclusive demo and then get your hands on experience being either the monster Goliath or the humans. All this happens at the Evolve Theatre.

Thereon, you will be able to get a taste of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Yes, the game that has been hyped a lot these days. There will be a demo that will get you the first look on the game and after that you can get a picture with Handsome Jack, or try out Borderlands 2 on PS Vita.

An activity called Loot Pass Sweepstakes is being held that will get you a Loot Pass Booklet that will have missions for you; once you complete the missions you will be rewarded with multiple items related to Borderlands like the Butt Stallion Statue.
