Orcs Must Die Unchained Unveiled, Introduces MOBA Elements

Robot Entertainment’s Orcs Must Die which was a single-player third person tower defense game has a sequel. The next game from the developer is titled Orcs Must Die Unchained and it is trying to mix the MOBA and CCG elements into a third person game.

This combination of two of the most popular genres brings an incredible PC game that will put two teams of five different characters against each other. The players will be armed with number of spells, abilities and traps that made the first game popular.

There are two factions in the game which will be competing against one another, first one is called the humans of the order and the other is Monster heroes called Unchained.

You will also be given control of an army known as Minions, which can be ordered to go down multiple lanes to take down the enemy team’s base. The abilities and commands of minion will depend on what cards have you selected to take to the battlefield.

Robot Entertainment has decided to make the mixture of two popular games Halo Wars and Age of Empires, which they are calling “a fortress siege game”.

Orcs Must Die Unchained will be a free-to-play title and is scheduled to release by the end of the year. Robot Entertainment has promised that more than a dozen playable characters will be added to the game before the official launch.

Orcs Must Die Unchained is available to play at PAX East 2014, be sure to check it out if you are one of the attendees.
