It seems like just yesterday that we were relishing in the post-event announcements of E3 2013. Thanks to monthly batches of news regarding the new consoles, time has gone by quick. Now it’s time to prepare ourselves for E3 2014, which begins in just two months.
EA is the first publisher to announce that their press conference will take place on June 9 in the Shrine Auditorium on Monday. Speaking with IGN, EA said that their conference will begin sharply at 1 p.m. PT, which is also the same day and time they held their conference last year.
EA unfortunately did not reveal their plans on what announcements they are going to tackle this year. The word might be given once other publishers announce theirs.
Last year, Ubisoft went right after EA, followed by Sony. It could very well happen the same way this year.
Sony was the clear winner last year, whose announcements caught Microsoft by surprise. E3 2014 is going to be a very important event for both Microsoft and Sony, and it’s confirmed that unlike last year, this year’s expo will focus entirely on games. It will be short, precise and keep viewers glued to their screen.
Let’s see how many exclusives get announced.
