The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has a release window of February 2015 but we are too eager to be in the world of Geralt that the date sounds too far.
If you feel the same, here’s further confirmation that your wait will be worth its while. The developer has claimed that they are going ‘nuts’ in terms of visuals for the game.
The global head of marketing at CD Projekt RED, Tomasz Jarzębowski was interviewed by The Sydney Morning Herald where he shed some more light on the possibilities that the latest generation of consoles has brought for them when developing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt:
“Because we are developing the game for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, we go nuts in terms of visuals. We want the game to look as beautiful as possible. I think we are in a good moment, we don’t have to choose between better graphics or performance on either PC or consoles now, we can just create the best looking game possible.”
Now that we have talked about how ‘nuts’ the game is going to be when it comes to graphical fidelity, what of the processing power of the consoles that will be running the game?
Jarzębowski was asked how much the processing power of the consoles will be stretched, his reply was a little cautious:
“If it maxes out the consoles? Well, the future will tell. There are games that are being released for current-gen that look way better than everything created so far. We are always getting wiser and wiser, so I expect our next game will look even better.”
How sold are you when it comes to the visuals of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?
