Jonathan Morin, the creative director of Watch Dogs at Ubisoft has taken it upon himself to answer to every query that you might have regarding. He started staying active on his Twitter profile couple of days back and has never stopped answering questions since then – which is good.
Over the weekend, he has been answering so many questions over the weekend that it actually got tough for us to keep track, wonder how he is doing it.
Nevertheless, he has shed light on how the E3 2012 demo was not supposed to be an actual depiction of the game’s PS4 and Xbox One versions, he says Ubisoft never claimed that and his reason is that the latest generation versions were not even revealed by then.
Moreover, he claims that the game has seen improvements in the quality over time. For instance, the game’s physics are better now and so is multiple global FX e.g. volumetric fog and day-and-night cycle.
He was asked about the difference between the Xbox One and PS4 versions to which he replied saying it’s the “same data and same game.” Moreover, he said that in terms of animation both the versions look identical. He wasn’t that blunt in the case of the resolution though, he said that they were currently tweaking both the versions so nothing was final yet.
Watch Dogs is bound to hit the racks on May 27 for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4; are you ready?
