Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Watch Dogs that welcomes players to the game’s version of Chicago city and its underlying network of camera and computers that players will be hacking as Aiden Pierce.
The latest video puts a lot of emphasis on the game’s dynamic lighting and weather systems, as well as showcasing the city’s inhabitants that have been worked on to act most realistically. Each NPC has its own personality, habits and personal data for Aiden to hack. Ubisoft has made it pretty clear that even if you decide on skipping the game’s storyline, there is still much to do in the bustling city of Chicago.
Somehow I reckon that the video has been released by Ubisoft in an attempt to quell the recent uproars of users who were not too pleased in knowing that Ubisoft had dumbed down the game following its original E3 2013 showcase.
Watch Dogs will launch on May 27 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A Wii U version will follow at a later date, which according to senior producer Dominic Guay could still be in 2014.
