Just recently, Sega and Creative Assembly have stated their plans about revealing the release date of Alien: Isolation during a developer’s session at EGX Rezzed 2014.
The game’s Creative Director Al Hope is expected to be on stage at 03:00 PM GMT and will share game’s development progress along with the release date. In addition to this, a first-hand experience on multiple platforms will also be provided to attendees.
Earlier this year, Sega announced that the game will not be available for Wii U for the time being which is not surprising as Aliens: Colonial Marines also did not make it to Wii U.
Therefore, the confirmed platforms for Alien: Isolation are Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 4, and Playstation 3.
For those of you who are unaware, ‘EGX Rezzed’ is scheduled to take place on coming Friday at the NEC in Birmingham. The show will showcase a ton of forthcoming games, presentations from developers, and several competitive tournaments.
Check out EGX Rezzed’s Official Page for more information about different presentation schedules and list of games that will be presented.
And for those of you who couldn’t attend the event, it will be live-streamed at Eurogamer.Net.
In other Alien: Isolation news, the developer, Creative Assembly, has stated that they are trying to stick to the roots by series’ unpredictable gameplay and horror elements.
A horror game with checkpoints that’s scripted just isn’t going to be scary.
