The tournament will begin online from April 11 in the UK and feature a stunning $10,000 prize money for the ultimate rival. The winner will also be awarded a choice of a trip to one of the four sports-themed destinations: a water sports adventure in Bora Bora, a chance to walk the Great Wall of China, a trek to Machu Picchu or a holiday spent skiing the Swiss Alps.
To enter all you need is an Xbox One and a copy of Kinect Sports Rivals. Then simply registering here enrolls you in the competition which will see to players from all over the globe showing off their skills in bowling, climbing and wake racing.
There’s one catch though. Players have until June 3 to climb up to the top leaderboard rankings in all three sports to qualify for the semi-finals. These finalists will be then flown to San Diego and awarded $1,000 spending money; where they will compete in the finals live from SD Comic Con in an elimination style Championship Tournament.
We’ve already mentioned the grand prize which is $10,000 and a trip of your choice. In second place though the player will be awarded $5,000; while third and fourth gets $2,500 and $1,000 respectively. Players placing between 5th and 11th will each get $500 a piece.
