Following the rumors of new Assassins Creed game on next gen, Ubisoft made an official announcement with a trailer which shows what we can expect from the next-gen only Assassin’s Creed game coming by the end of this year.
Considering the anticipation of more information on the title, we dissected the trailer to bring you interesting facts about Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
At the start of the trailer you will witness a ballroom with very detailed structure on the walls and straight after that the camera jumps into the streets of Paris, you witness some really crafty work from the developers with the windows reflection and the wind.
Those who have played Assassin’s Creed games before should notice that just as in previous titles, every single structure, small or huge, is completely climbable.
You will see huge structures made available in this game which were missing from the Assassins Creed 3 and Black Flag.
Arno, the protagonist of the game is standing on one of these large structures. As the camera focuses on him, we find him closing something that looks like an amulet (maybe a family picture).
Only visible weapons on him are the sword and the guns pouches. One interesting thing to note here is the absence of the Assassin’s emblem on the hood.
For the whole trailer you will be hearing the bells in the background which may be a signal for the public execution that is taking place in the area. There is huge crowd gathering and if you look closely, they are all moving and at the end of the trailer, execution supposedly happens.
We can’t conclude whether our Assassin jumps in before the execution or right after it. Just as the screen goes black and logo pops up, notice that it is cut from one side which may be an indication of something new coming to the story.
Assassins Creed: Unity will be coming in the Holidays 2014 just like previous Assassin’s Creed titles.
