A couple of weeks back Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare received an update that was intended to increase the coin payout at the end of every round. This however backfired and players are now reporting that the update has instead led to an unbalance in coin payout between the two sides in the Gardens and Graveyards game mode.
The Zombies apparently get rewarded double the amount of coins and this leads to players shifting teams for the extra currency. As a result the Plants side gets an overall poorer experience since no one really wants to play from their side.
Creative director Justin Wiebe took notice of this and promised a fix in the next patch. “Why should Zombies get all the coins! Been working on some new tuning for G&G. Hope to roll it out in next patch,” he wrote on Twitter.
He however did not mention any time frame.
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare recently received the Garden Variety DLC that caused freezing and other issues for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The next upcoming patch includes fixes to all of this, as well as tweaks to the gameplay.
