How to Train Your Dragon 2 Video Game Announced – Also Coming to Wii, Wii U and 3DS
Did you have fun playing How to Train You Dragon? Also, are you looking forward to seeing the upcoming movie in the series? If you are, here’s something to interest you: How to Train Your Dragon 2 has been announced.
Although the previous game in the series was published by Activision and developed by Etranges Libellules and Griptonite Games; this time it is being developed by Torus Games while Little Orbit has the publishing rights.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 will feature the fire breathing epic adventure that the series has been famed for.
Matt Scott the president of publisher Little Orbit believes that it is an honor to get to work in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation. He also revealed, as expected, that the game will be a companion piece for the upcoming movie of the same series:
“We’re fortunate to work with DreamWorks Animation on such a treasured franchise. The How to Train Your Dragon 2 video game will make a great companion piece to one of the most highly-anticipated films of the Summer.”
The head of Global Interactive at DreamWorks Animation, Chris Hewish has also shown his interest in the next Dragon based game:
“The action filled world of Dragons translates beautifully to the video game space. We are thrilled to be working with Little Orbit on creating a soaring, action-packed Dragon experience for young gamer.”
How to Train Your Dragon 2 has been announced for multiple platforms including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, 3DS, Wii and Wii U and it is expected that the game will be released in the June of this year.
