Publisher EnjoyUp Games announced an update for its published title Unepic on Nintendo Wii U. This is a rarity when it comes to the Nintendo consoles, but that’s because it has to go through an approval process.
Changes apply to both the European and North American regions. We’ll list the updates below:
- New language supported: Portuguese.
- Zoom on TV.
- Play with both left stick and directional pad.
- Change language within the game.
- English voices can be enabled in other languages.
- A new “stick and poo” wand included.
- Two new pets that can be obtained by completing challenges.
In addition, the American version will also add Italian and German languages.
Unepic was originally created by just one person. It’s a roleplaying game (RPG) that takes a light-hearted approach to the genre. This indie game is also available on PC.
A character is transported to a series of dungeons after going to the bathroom during a D&D session. Instead of playing a sort of valiant hero, this person will mostly just stumble around in their quest.
There are a ton of rooms to explore in the 2D environments of Unepic. It also includes seven bosses, 70 spells to choose from and 100 weapons.
Depending on how you play, Unepic has three different endings. You can also craft potions, obtain pets and more things related to some good old RPG action.
EnjoyUp Games is a prolific company on the Nintendo platforms. They’re also responsible for publishing La-Mulana and recently announced Abyss on Nintendo Wii U.
