Publisher PQube has released another trailer with gameplay footage for MXGP – The Official Motocross Videogame. In a comparison reel, it details the difference between an in-game perspective and doing the real thing out on the tracks.
In the one minute of side-by-side content, we go through a whole lot of locations from all around the world. Tracks from Germany, Belgium, Italy and more are listed, so you can really take your pick to see if your favorites are represented well.
Otherwise, the recreations are admittedly pretty well done. At least the proportions seem to be comparable, when turns and bumps are concerned.
If there’s any difference, it’s mostly minor visual-related aspects. For instance, the cockpit view is noticeably too stable, when compared to the wobbly actuality.
Colors also vary wildly, but that can also be due to various weather circumstances. At least they tried to make it look the same, even with the same posts and all.
There’s not a lot of time left until MXGP releases. It will be out on March 28, 2014. It didn’t seem that long ago that it was announced, even if that happened around October of 2013.
Unlike the new MotoGP releases coming to PS4, MXGP is still headed only to the older console range. It will launch for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PS Vita and PC.
