If you must believe then these are the first leaked screenshots of the next Assassin’s Creed game titled Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
The shots were posted by Kotaku who in turn obtained them through developer sources that must not be named. There are apparently two Assassin’s Creed titles releasing later this year. Unity is one of them and we’re not even sure if Unity is the official name of it or is just a code-name.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is rumored to be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The second title is called Assassin’s Creed: Comet and will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There is no information on the PC versions of both titles but it’s said that at least one will come to Windows. I’m assuming it’s Unity. Kotaku noted that it’s likely there will be no Wii U versions.
Unity is said to be set during the French Revolution and in the screenshots Arno, a new assassin, is shown in 18th century Paris.
Note that the images are of an unfinished game and so it’s looking really bland. The final version will of course have better textures and more filled environments.
