Latest Hearthstone Update Brings Changes to Some Cards and Ranked Play
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft might not have an exact release date yet, but something tells me it will come soon. Blizzard Entertainment is pulling some of the feature strings again and adding new things to the card based free to play game. It has now been announced that the game will receive another round of tweaks specific to the cards and the ranked mode of the game.
Though only two cards have been altered namely, Tinkmaster Overspark and Nat Pagle; it is more important to note that Blizzard is really putting efforts into the smaller details too. The official announcement post reads:
“The release of Hearthstone is on the horizon, and we have a couple of additional changes to certain cards we feel it is necessary to implement before the game goes live. As we’ve stated, we plan to make very few card changes when the game goes live, and we will only make changes to cards if they are absolutely necessary. Making these changes now will ensure a more balanced state of the overall game into release.”
After the changes, Nat Pagle now reads “at the start of your turn, you have a 50% chance to draw an extra card.” Remember, the start; not the end of your turn. Tinkmaster on the other hand reads “transform another random minion into a 5/5 Devilsaur or a 1/1 Squirrel.” Also, it wil now be a 3/3 card instead of 2/2.
