Today is the day when two of the most anticipated games of the year have released. Dark Souls 2 and Titanfall have been hyped about by gamers and the media alike, now it’s time to see how the two titles have fared among the critics i.e. the initial Dark Souls 2 and Titanfall reviews.
Titanfall first; generally the game received a very positive response from major critics. In many areas it has lived up to the expectations of the gamers. It takes the first person shooter experience to newer heights and given the added aura of Titans, it surely is a one of its kind FPS. There is one slight downside though; it’s an online only game.
Titanfall Reviews have started pouring in from different critics, and the score has been varying between a 100 on 100 to an average score of 70. Check out the reviews here:

Titanfall might have been hyped up by Microsoft themselves for being a console seller title, but the reason to fame for Dark Souls 2 has not been based on something like that. Being chimed as the toughest role playing game by almost everybody, Dark Souls 2 launched to acclaim today, solely for doing justice to its name.
Dark Souls 2 doesn’t really respect novices, it places you in the dark and it is on you to learn as you go (and die as less as you can). There have been people who claim it could stand for being the game of the year although there still are nine more months to go. The game is stressful, no doubt in that, but that is why you fall for it right?
Here’s how the critics have reviewed it so far. You will see a lot of respect for the overall experience that the game provides you and you will also see meager complaints that the game is too hard to handle:
