The massive patch that was released last week for Battlefield 4 on the PC has now been released for the Xbox One. Weighing in about 800 MB, the patch squashes or attempts to squash plenty of game bugs, as well as bringing tweaks to weaponry.
Much like every patch, the latest one also brings fixes to several crashes and improves overall stability. The notes though don’t specify exactly what types of crashes were fixed.
The bloody issue of rubberbanding that was making playing impossible on some servers has been fixed. Players now can stop teleporting back to their initial positions after having ran a considerable distance.
Plenty of issues with blood effects, damage indicators and health bar updates in the HUD have been synced. The maximum multiplayer rank has been increased to 120 amongst everything.
The annoying issue of red laser dots getting stuck on textures has been fixed. A bug where players would see enemies with full health bars in the kill-cam has been rectified.
Boat physics and handling has been improved. More importantly though, a new feature has been added that allows players to push stuck boats back in the water.
In the weaponry, the number of M84 Flashbang and Hand Flares the player can carry has been increased to 3; with Flashbangs now having an increased area of effect.
Damage for the RGO has been raised but its range of explosion decreased. Accuracy of the M1911 has been increased, magazine capacity of the QSZ-92 increased, damage of the M1911, QSZ-92, FN57, CZ-75 increased. DMRs have been further buffed.
Alongside that pump action shotguns now have increased accuracy while on the move and aiming. The Heavy Barrel’s Accuracy bonus now also applies on the move, at a reduced bonus. This should give the Heavy Barrel a wider role for players who desire accuracy while aimed in all situations.
