Players With Early Access to Titanfall Need Not Fear Getting Banned
Fear not, all you early buyers, you are in the clear!
Many of you early buyers may have been despairing over potential bans over too good to be true copies that you managed to nag before everyone else got the game, but it seems that you need not worry.
In the past, especially with products involving Microsoft (which doesn’t have a very nice track record). Microsoft handed out non-negotiable lifetime bans to players who were detected playing a leaked pre-release version of the game.
Following that, there has always been fear amongst players that they might receive perma-bans on their Xbox live accounts and consoles. Titanfall pilots, however won’t be facing the sharp end of the stick this time.
Founder of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella said on Twitter Last night:
About playing early: We won’t stop or ban legit copies, It is prelaunch, so there may be interruptions in service as we prep servers.
If you’re one of the lucky few who got his hands on an early copy, you can start leveling up, building your burn card decks, and exploring every nook and corner in the game to ensure that when the game is released, you’re pawning all those lesser regular buyers.
You can also build up your burn decks. And for those of you who didn’t get an early access copy, head over to the Origin or Xbox stores to nag a copy of the highly anticipated Mech Shooter.
