The sniper based title from Rebellion and 505 Games, Sniper Elite will take you back to the World War 2 this summer. The developer has announced Sniper Elite 3 release date to be June 27.
The next gen versions of Sniper Elite 3 will cost $49.99 while the PS3 and Xbox 360 version have been priced at 10 dollars less. There is also a Collector’s Edition that can be bought for $69.99 on the next gen. The Sniper Elite 3 release date announcement is not all the news; preordering the game will get you an additional mission that lets you kill Adolf Hitler.
Having a mission involving Hitler himself is exciting enough to make one want the additional content, but if that doesn’t do the trick for you, the official description of the mission might:
“Hitler, Allied code name ‘Grey Wolf’, and his double have embarked upon a clandestine trip to the Libyan port town of Tobruk in 1942. In order to prepare for this mission, and that crucial final shot, OSS Agent Karl Fairburne must infiltrate the ancient streets and crumbling rooftops of the German-held town using stealth and distraction. Featuring an expansive open environment, and randomized target identities, journals and locations, no two playthroughs will be the same. The question is – can you tell fact from fiction, the real target from the double?”
This is not the first time that 505 Games will put players to that task though, Sniper Elite V2 also had a pre-order bonus mission named Kill the Fuhrer – it of course had the same objective. Who is excited about the preorder bonus mission?
Sniper Elite 3 release date for PC is June 27 along with the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions for the European market. Console owners from the US will have to wait until July 1 in order to get their hands on the game.
