If you are missing your childhood days with cartoon network, you don’t have to anymore as developer Radian Games is developing Defenders of Townsville, a game that features the Powerpuff Girls.
It has been almost nine to ten years since the last episode of the Powerpuff girls, but good news is they are finally making a return be it in a video game. The developer of the game describes it as:
PPG: Defenders of Townsville is a metroidvania with flying superheroes and a heavy dose of action. There are locked doors, and upgrades that unlock new areas, and exploration (and a map).
There are bi-directional attacks, with melee and ranged combat, and a super-fast dash. And there are 3 difficulty levels, plus a harder second quest with a whole new world layout and even crazier enemies.
The game will be playable with all three girls but you will be controlling just one of them at a time. The characters are voiced by the vocal talents that did the voices in the cartoon.
The game will make its way to PC, Mac and Linux on 14th March. However, there is no word on what it will cost but the developer is promising that their own steam page and more information of the game is coming soon.
In the meantime, you can watch the trailer and let us know what you think of it!
