Hideo Kojima Would like a PC Version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Hideo Kojima would really like to bring Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to the PC. He revealed that in an interview with GameSpot, where he said:
PC, that’s my original background. I originally created PC games. A long time ago I didn’t want to rely on platforms to release games, so if people want it, I cannot make a formal announcement, but that is definitely something that I would like to do.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been announced for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the only people that are left out are the pc gamers.
With MGS V, Hideo Kojima is trying to bring new style of open world to the gaming, there will be a lot of freedom available for the players to achieve one objective. The game is designed in a way to suit every type of play-style.
Previous game in the series Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns and Patriots was PlayStation 3 exclusive and didn’t make its way to any other platform. However, Metal Gear Revengeance was released for the PC.
We can expect that with the huge scale of the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, it will be hard for the developers to ignore the PC version of the game altogether.
The prologue to the main game, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be released on March 18th for Xbox one, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
There is no confirmation of the game coming to PC yet, but after this interview of Hideo Kojima, we can hope that it will be released for PC in the near future.
