Blizzard Entertainment will discontinue sales of the Digital Deluxe Edition of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria in “approximately one week,” according to an announcement posted today on Battle.net.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, which launched alongside Mists of Pandaria exclusively in Blizzard’s online store, will be retired “no sooner than March 10,” according to Blizzard.

Originally $59.99, you can purchase it while it lasts for $39.99 to get the expansion’s full content plus an Imperial Quilen mount and Quilen pet, a Diablo 3 banner sigil and accent and StarCraft 2 portraits of the infested orc and the night elf Templar.

Mists of Pandaria raised the existing level cap from level 85 to 90. It introduced a new character class, the Monk, along with a new playable race, the Pandaren. The vanity pet system was overhauled and a pet battle system was added.

Scenarios were introduced, and Challenge Modes were added for dungeons. The existing 41-point talent trees were replaced by a new system of tiered talents that are awarded every 15 levels.

Cross-zone realms were introduced, along with account-wide achievements and area of effect looting.

The initial patch included nine new dungeons, three new raids, and two new battlegrounds, the Temple of Kotmogu and the Silvershard Mines, as well as one new arena (the Tol’vir Proving Grounds).

The expansion also debuted new elements such as a player-run farm, and the Black Market auction-house.

Subsequent patches introduced the Brawler’s Guild, as well as Heroic scenarios. Several additional raids, dungeons and scenarios, a new battleground, Deepwind Gorge, and a new arena, The Tiger’s Peak, were also added.

Last November, Blizzard unveiled another new expansion for World of Warcraft, titled: “Warlords of Draenor”.

The expansion will raise the existing level cap from 90 to 100 and will introduce player-built, upgradeable garrison. This expansion will be set in the ancient homeland of the orc and draenei races, amd will bring new animations and character models.

Since its announcement, Blizzard also revealed that Warlords of Draenor will also bring a new, universal PvP toggle as well as spectator invites and skirmishes.
