Project Spark Xbox One beta is here! And the news has come in through none other than Larry Hryb aka Major Nelson. This is your chance to join the community that is already experimenting in the world builder game.
Team Dakota says that the Project Spark Xbox One beta will come with additional features over the Windows beta. For instance custom moves, performance capture, custom voiceovers and more. Here’s how they have explained the additional features:
The Xbox One version of Project Spark adds Performance Capture support with Kinect. Record your own animations and voice Make your custom moves, record voice over and customize your creations before you share them with the community across Xbox One and Windows 8.
The Xbox One version also allows players to play their creations on their big screen at home.
You can easily save your creation to the cloud and seamlessly play or create on either Windows 8 or Xbox One. Additionally, Project Spark automatically translates standard controls from Windows 8 mouse and keyboard to Xbox One controller and vice versa.
The announcement post goes on to advice that the newcomers should jump into what the previous users have created and improvise on it to create new adventures.
Three of the best creations listed by Team Dakota, which would naturally be the must visit places for you are Blaze Jumper – a wall jumping spot, an artistic showcase named Color and something called Pinball Raid – I guess the name itself is pretty suggestive.
