Bad news for the Xbox 360 users; Microsoft has confirmed that Battlefield 4 players will not be able to access a range of features in the game. Owing to the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Battlefield 4 DLC, the game will be down for maintenance.
As a result of this, you will not be able to access the game features including the ability to join other friends in online games, using the friends’ features and other social elements of Xbox 360 and so on.
Here’s what the official message from Xbox Live reads:
Attention, Battlefield 4 players! Battlefield 4 will be down for a period of time as it is currently undergoing a scheduled maintenance in preparation for the latest expansion pack. We appreciate your patience while we work. We’ll provide an update as soon as the maintenance is complete.
According to the confirmation that has been provided by the Support page of Xbox’s official website, a total of three areas could be affected adversely by the problem.
- Accessing all game features
- Joining other Xbox Live members in online games
- Managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing
- Posting game performance or viewing the performance of other Xbox Live members
Thankfully, the problems have not affected Xbox One users in any way whatsoever, so people with the next-gen consoles have nothing to worry about.
