The Last of Us’ Upcoming DLC Adds New Difficulty Level

Naughty Dog has teased information relating to its upcoming DLC for The Last of Us.

A couple of days back Naughty Dog shared a development documentary on YouTube that teased what the upcoming DLC for The Last of Us would contain.

According to the developer, the last bit of content for the PlayStation 3 exclusive will be “multiplayer goodness with new maps, new weapons, new skills, and also a brand new difficulty mode for the single-player campaign.” Whether the “new” difficulty mode is going to be nightmarish or harder remains to be seen.

The unnamed DLC is going to be the final one that comes under the game’s season pass. It’s unsure if Naughty Dog plans to release more DLC content later on that will not be covered by the season pass.

The last DLC was called Left Behind and was released on February 14. The single-player expansion pack offered the same classy storytelling that we experienced in the vanilla title and was equally impressive.

Naughty Dog promised to update us with more information on the DLC “as in-game elements near completion.”
