New Call of Duty Said to Look “Really Realistic With Great Physics”
A recent hosting of Destination PlayStation event in Scottsdale, Arizona by Sony Computer Entertainment had many publishers showcasing their upcoming titles. These were shown behind closed doors and consisted of many unannounced titles.
One of them was the new Call of Duty title that is in development at Sledgehammer Games and is scheduled for release this Fall. While the non disclosure agreement prevents everyone from talking about the event, a Twitter user Lokiolr has relayed what he was told by his boss about the upcoming new Call of Duty title.
“Got the rundown from my boss on some Destination Playstation stuff. New Call Of Duty sounds awesome,” he said.
“One scene he described took place on the Golden Gate bridge. He couldn’t remember the game’s subtitle but he thinks it was “Black Smith”. Said it looks really realistic with great physics. I’m guessing the “Black Smith” title is the internal name. Like Titan was for Black Ops 2.”
Further Tweets by him confirmed that the game is the next entry in the Modern Warfare series.
Interestingly Lokiolr also said that Rockstar Games was to showcase something amazing but decided against it at the last minute. While it’s unsure what the studio was going to show, an announcement has been set for E3. Could be very well that it’s GTA V on next-gen or perhaps a new IP. I highly doubt it’s a new IP though.
