Thief Shady Merchant Upgrades, Tools, Trinkets and Resources Guide

Thief
Psst, you. Yeah, I’m talking to you. Wanna buy some poppies?

Well, if you’re Garrett the master thief, you’ll certainly want to go to anyone who’s offering you a poppy. In fact, chances are the fellow will offer you much more.

Thief Shady Merchant Tools, Resources, Upgrades and Trinkets

Being a thief needs a bit of investment – you need the right kind of tools to get the job done in shady merchants that will offer you plenty of goods.

Actually, there’s just one main shady merchant – the rest are poor fellows that will only offer you basic items. Your main source of handy tools and upgrades is a decently dressed merchant you meet after the first Chapter.

The merchant will be quietly located in the Crippled Burrick near Basso’s Tavern. This is your go-to guy for all the essential supplies and gadgets, and also super-useful upgrades that will enhance Garrett’s skills and abilities.

Over the course of your journey and during certain missions you’ll also spot other merchants, or folks I like to call ‘lesser merchants’. These guys will only supply basic requirements such as arrows, food, and poppies.

Like with most merchants, it’s not just about buying – it’s also about selling. Sell any extra stuff you manage to find. Mostly merchants will buy items for half the price, but that’s a good enough offer, especially if you have swiped something ‘for free’.
