Online game developer InnoGames announced that it would be creating 100 new jobs for its recent move to a new office. Its new residence is located closer to the center of Hamburg, Germany.
There’s a bit of room to go around with 6.600 square meters of space. In total, this work environment would be able to fit 500 employees.
From that number, InnoGames is hoping to employ 400 people by the end of the year. During this announcement, Michael Zillmer, Chief Operating Officer for the company, stated:
It’s very challenging for us maintain our targeted growth and to hire enough new, highly qualified colleagues. That’s why creating a positive working atmosphere and making our existing colleagues feel comfortable is crucial to us.
Taking that statement to its point, the building will accommodate its workforce with its own gym, barista bar and a “large playing area.” We can only assume it’s a virtual jungle gym.
Along with the expansion, the business center will also have an InnoHub initiative within its walls, which welcomes starting companies with fair conditions. Along with fully equipped offices, startups will be able to make use of indoor coaching for legal, finance and marketing issues.
Recently, InnoGames celebrated 10 years of existence, which has paid off for the German developer of browser games. Starting with the game Tribal Wars, the original foundations of the title was made by just three people.
Since, the company has added dozens of employees and released several more games. You may have noticed ads online for its titles the likes of Forge of Empires or Grepolis.
In times where many studios are shutting down, having one offer not just a few positions, but an entire range of jobs is quite commendable.
