Warlords of Draenor Mages Talents Reworked With 12 New Talents

Have you been content with the Warlords of Draenor Mages talents recently? If not, news has come in from the developers that a dozen of new talents are being added to the mages in the game.

Chadd Nervig the Technical Game Designer on World of Warcraft has been looked up to quite often. He has been pretty vocal about the class designs of the game and everything that goes on in and around them.

Recently, he was rambling about how naming an ability is the ‘hardest’ part of the whole drill a developer goes through when designing a spell. When he mentioned picking up awesome names for certain spells he was asked, rather sarcastically, that spells having awesome names but terrible skills like the Level 90 wasn’t something the Mage community would want.

His reply to this was that the talents of Mages have been revised and now there will be 12 brand new talents along with multiple spells that have been converted into talents after undergoing major changes.

Parallel to this, he also clarified that the total number of Mage talents in Warlords of Draenor was 28 and not 21. He also mentioned that some of them are spec specific.

The total of 28 talents is a huge number, and 12 new talents is certainly good news. How does the Warlords of Draenor Mage community take this?
