It’s official; Titanfall has completed its development process on the main game and achieved gold status. This message was confirmed both by the developer Respawn Entertainment’s Twitter account, as well as the account of the game itself.
Therefore, unless there are any unforeseen circumstances, the game is assured its coveted release spot on March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13, 2014 for Europe.
Still, not all platforms will be serviced at the same time. Only the Xbox One version and that on PC will be coming on aforementioned date. In earlier news, it was reported that the Xbox 360 version of the game would be pushed back towards the end of March.
You can expect big things from Titanfall, as the multiplayer-focused shooter already has some accolades to its name, even before release. For instance, it already reportedly sold out its stock of Xbox One bundles in some retail outlets.
Moreover, its Beta stress test was used by more than 2 million gamers, across Xbox One and PC. That demonstration only had a glimpse of all the possibilities in the game.
Titanfall will also serve as the big launch event to bring Twitch livestream integration to Xbox One. Twitch will start its service on the console on the same date as the game’s North American release.
