New Murdered: Soul Suspect Screenshots Show the Dead Detective Doing What He Does Best
Airtight Games’ Unreal Engine 3 based action adventure Murdered: Soul Suspect has received new screenshots from the hands of publisher Square Enix.
We do know that the game revolves around a dead detective who is in for investigating his own murder, but the developer has been cautious about revealing too much information about the game so far.
Now the new screenshots, nine in total, show off the protagonist in silver lining – literally, while he investigates what looks like his own murder scene. There is more in the screenshots too, for instance this horrid looking creature that appears to be something that just rose out of a grave.
If not anything else, the new screenshots do show that our lead character, Ronan O’ Connor, is stylish – something like Clint Eastwood in his early years.
Trapped between here and the afterlife in the city of Salem, he goes through one scene into the next each packed with missions involving an element of investigation. Usually the investigations will try to unravel the story of O’ Connor’s own death but there will be side-quests that add to your Experience.
Murdered: Soul Suspect was originally being developed as a title for PC and the departing generation of consoles i.e. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but was confirmed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this month.
So far, the developer has steered away from announcing a precise date of release but it is aimed at the later end of the second quarter of 2014.
