The motor racing game Trials Fusion is set for a release on April 16.
The game will come out in two versions; the digital one available from April 16 while the physical retail copy comes two days after. The digital copy will cost £15.99 in the UK and $20 in the US, whereas the retail version will cost $40 in the US for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No price was given for the physical version in the UK.
The larger price of the retail version is largely due to the fact that it comes with a season pass for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which will give players access to six future DLC packs that will be released until April 2015.
RedLynx’s director Tero Virtala promises players by telling GameSpot that Trials Fusion will be the “the biggest and best Trials game ever.” Virtala also emphasized that the motorsport title will also be constantly evolving and getting better with updates and expansions, which the team has already made a roadmap for.
“…we already have a roadmap of expansions, content packs and a plan for how we intend to keep on growing the game and making it bigger and better.”
Trials is the third installment in the series, of which the previous was Trials Evolution, released for Xbox Live Arcade in 2012. Fusion is the first game of the series to be available in physical form, and is also the first Trials title to come out for the PlayStation.
