If you grew up with tabletop games including Warhammer 40K, you will want to know that a PC and mobile based game in the same universe is being developed by UK based developer Eutechnyx.
Not only that, it was confirmed that Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance will be released in the market on March 27. The developer confirmed the release date of the game along with news that they plan to start a beta phase on February 27.
Originally, Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance was announced back in December 2013 as a ‘lane strategy game.’ Being based on the futuristic war gameplay of Warhammer, it features a battlefield that is divided into 5 lanes with simple objectives of defending and attacking.
You place your buildings and defend them at the same time when you try and destroy at least 3 of your enemy’s buildings in order to win.
Apart from the head to head fights, there will be leveling system; you can spend resources and upgrade your units just as you can upgrade your building to produce resources.
There are over 50 missions for each faction of the game and the campaign mode of Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance is based on a book named Purging of Kadillus authored by Gav Thrope.
PC version of the game will be up on sale through Steam for a price of £6.99 while the iOS and Android versions will cost you £2.99. The game doesn’t have any microtransactions.
The fact that it doesn’t have Mmicro-transctions does make it stand out a bit. Don’t you think?
