Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is bound to hit the racks next month, and in the recent days Konami and Hideo Kojima have made sure to stay on top of the news with every passing day. Now, a boatload of more information and announcements have been revealed by Konami.
For starters, the price of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has been reduced from $40 to $30 for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One so that “as many people as possible” can play the game. The UK version of the game for the two consoles matches the US rates with £30.
It was previously speculated that The Phantom Pain DLC could be included within Ground Zeroes, Konami has finally confirmed this. The first batch of retail copies will come bearing the codes to additional staff that will be used in Mother Base. The additional staff is said to play an essential role in The Phantom Pain.
The number of copies in the first batch has been kept a secret but no matter how many they are, you better hurry to get your hands on them.
Moving on, there will be some carry over data from Ground Zeroes to The Phantom Pain. For instance the rescued prisoners of war and the VIPs from Ground Zeroes will be carried over to the next game. Same goes for the character skins that you unlock.
So, does this make you want to buy Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes even more?
