New Tony Hawk Game Confirmed by Legendary Skateboarder

Since 1999, a total of 17 games have been made based on the legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, now it looks like there haven’t been enough. A new Tony Hawk game was confirmed by Tony Hawk himself, followed closely by an announcement from Activision that they will be involved in the game development.

Tony Hawk was discussing the good times that he has had with the Pro Skater series on his Demolition Radio Show that runs on SiriusXM when he revealed:

We’re working on a game, we are working on a game, it’s pretty cool.

This was followed by his co-host chipping in with “It’s a whole suit you have to put on.”

Just the fact that another skateboarding game featuring Tony Hawk is in the making would be enough to excite those who love the sport or the previous games for that matter.

Activision confirmed to IGN that they are indeed developing the game:

Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk, more info is coming soon.

The last game in the series was Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD which was a remake of the original Tony Hawk Pro Skater. It has been over six years since we last saw a main game in the series with the last being Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground that received average ratings from the critics.

What would you like to see in the new Tony Hawk game?
