Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Announced for Consoles and PC

A “Deluxe Edition” of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate has been announced by Warner Bros. for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.

Releasing on April 1 in North America and April 2 in Europe; Blackgate – Deluxe will feature high definition graphics, a new map, revamped hint system, a fully voiced narrative and 5.1 surround sound. Additional there will be objective tracking, smoother animations and more.

At the core, it’s the same game as the original with only better visuals. I personally don’t see any point in purchasing this game if you have already played it on the hand-helds.

Players will take control of Batman from a side-on view and switch between background and foreground to avoid enemy attacks, enemy sights and navigating through the map.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate was originally released for both the 3DS and Vita until developer Armature Studio decided on making a HD version of the title and port it over to consoles and PC.
