Bungie wants their upcoming MMO-FPS Destiny to be different from all the other multiplayer games.
In an interview with Xbox One Magazine, Bungie’s David Dague discussed some of the ways the developer hopes to achieve this goal including character customization and how loot will work inside the game.
There are just three announced playable classes within Destiny. However, Bungie hopes to establish player diversity through the use of skill trees to ensure that no two players are the same. The idea is to design trees which foster unique builds through skills, appearance, and even vehicles.
Our goal is to equip players with enough options that each Guardian feels truly unique. Creating and growing your character will give you to a complex series of choices.
Skill trees will handle how different players approach the game; everyone will use their unique play-style in the game with hopes to getting new gear through the game’s loot system. Destiny has unique loot system when compared with other games of the same genre.
Bungie want to ensure that people are rewarded every time they play the game.
Destiny features private loot streams to ensure that every Guardian earns what they need to become legend.
Destiny is getting better and better and we wouldn’t expect any less from the developers of widely popular franchise “HALO”. It is scheduled to launch on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 on September 9th, 2014.
