Titanfall Beta is Now Open to PC Users – Check Your Accounts
As promised by Respawn Entertainment over the weekend, Titanfall is now official in open beta for both the Xbox One and PC.
Players on both platforms no longer are required to have invitational keys and can jump into Titanfall right now and play to their heart’s content. The move was initiated by Respawn in order to stress test the title.
That said, the game is still not open to the entire PC community. Only those who registered before 4pm on February 17 will find the beta in their games library on Origin.
“Hey PC players: Did you register before 4pm PST yesterday? Check your My Games Library in Origin, getting more people in to test servers,” an earlier tweet reads.” If it isn’t in your My Games Library yet check back in a few hours.
On the other hand, Xbox One users can simply go to the Xbox Live Marketplace and begin downloading the client found under the New Games category.
The open beta period has also been extended by the developer, which originally was supposed to end on February 18.
Titanfall is on schedule for a release on March 11 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
