Are you already finished with Final Fantasy franchise? Don’t be! Producer of Final Fantasy 15, Shinji Hashimoto is planning on providing you with a bunch of more sequels.
In a recent interview with CNN Money, Hashimoto stated that every newly released title provides a better experience than its predecessor and the studio intends on using it to achieve the ultimate goal:
Final Fantasy has always offered a fantasy experience that surpasses the previous installment and so, we intend to keep evolving the games to achieve the ultimate level.
With evolution of technology in next-gen of consoles, the company is hoping that it will open up new horizons for the franchise:
As technology evolves with each new generation of consoles, our developers can widen their ideas and inspirations. We will continuously strive to surprise our fans across the world with new games and new experiences from the Final Fantasy franchise.
Previously, it has also been announced that Lightning will also appear in future titles:
For Lightning, her story ends here in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, as this game is meant as a finale to this series. But we know that Lightning is an extremely popular character, even when compared to other Final Fantasy characters. So there is a possibility that Lightning would appear in other future Final Fantasy titles, not as a protagonist, but as a guest character.
