Zombie Studios’ horror game Daylight has been revealed to be releasing for the PC and PlayStation 4 in April. That’s according to studio director Jared Gerritzen, who in a latest IGN preview video, walked us through a portion of the game.
Powered by the Unreal Engine 4, Daylight was previously known to release in “early 2014.” The horror title places users in the shoes of a character who wakes up in an abandoned hospital. Players are equipped with a dying smartphone, compass and a flashlight only. Using these tools they must navigate their way through the dark corridors and outside is possible.
During the course of the gameplay, players will also unravel the mystery behind the abandoned hospital and its hostile environment.
The developer announced late last year that its procedurally generated horror game will also have support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.
