Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Director Hideo Kojima has shared several new details of the upcoming tactical espionage action game.
First of all he confirmed that Ground Zeroes has been adjusted to have the same game design, operation feeling and difficulty on PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One. All of the hardware received special adjustment in Colors.
He continued by saying that instead of following the path prepared by game designers, gamers will be able to enjoy clearing missions many times with their own style and strategy using their favorite routes in the open world of the game. He said:
The feeling of the operation is especially pleasant and it’s possible to go anywhere without problems.
Then he went on to talk about his previous game Metal Gear Solid 4, that how much it is difficult for him to adjust to the old game, after getting used to freedom and feeling of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
Kojima explained that during the latest press boot camp in Nazu, it was often discussed that the game isn’t on rails, and you have to proceed with caution looking at the 360 degrees around you. That causes intense tension and stress, and focus is required to complete the mission. After finishing the game people were very tired.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is infiltration espionage; every player will choose his own routes and play-styles to complete one mission. Kojima encourages the players to play the game with their own style and show it to the world with the share button over and over.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is set to release for Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 18th.
