Dragon Age: Inquisition Might Feature Multiple Voice Actors
A Tweet Conversation between a fan and Mike Laidlaw suggests that Bioware may hire multiple voice actors for Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Since Dragon Age: Inquisition will feature four different races (Dwarf, Elf, Human, and Qunari) with two separate genders; fans are wondering whether Bioware will hire eight different voice actors for each race/gender?
In response to the query, game’s Creative Director, Mike Laidlaw stated that it is too early to discuss anything and they will bring out more information before the launch date:
We haven’t discussed that yet, but will sometime before launch.
Hiring multiple voice actors does sound like a ton of hassle but Laidlaw is stressing that since they have done it before in Star Wars: The Old Republic, they are capable of doing it again with Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Well, I’m not promising anything for DAI, but you’d be surprised how much talking is in SWTOR if you haven’t played it.
When we consider the previous Dragon Age titles, there was no concept of choosing the protagonist from different classes in Dragon Age 2 and since a couple of voice actors sufficed. As for Dragon Age: Origins, it did feature multiple classes but eradicated the voice acting completely.

Although no solid release date has been provided but ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ is expected to launch later this year for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PC.
