Senran Kagura Burst Ships 500 Copies Of Life and Hometown Edition

Publisher Zen United has announced a special edition for Senran Kagura Burst on Nintendo 3DS, which will be extremely limited for the entirety of European release. Only 500 units of this version, called the Life and Hometown edition, will be produced.

One of these special editions will come with the previously announced 3D lenticular poster, as well as a specially created shirt, featuring material from Senran Kagura’s creator, Takaki-san’s choice words. Recently, the producer mentioned:

Ninjas, sushi, schoolgirls, samurai, and boobs. These are the things that cross all borders, and tie us together!

There are definitely some of those things present on the shirt design, which looks at a girl from a rear view, while maintaining a profile on some of the curves. It’s a theme you’ll encounter throughout the game.

In Senran Kagura Burst, two schools of ninja girls fight against each other in side-scrolling action. As they receive damage, their clothing will tear more and more, making them more powerful in return, somehow.

Camera angles in the game usually revolve around showing off sexualized imagery of nudity and questionable poses. It looks like the makers of Senran Kagura Burst are totally in on the cheekiness, though it’s not viewed that way by all audiences, surely.

While the Life and Hometown edition of Senran Kagura Burst will only be available through the Zen Store, it will be shipped to the entirety of Europe. It costs £49.99 to prominently wear depictions of curvy girls.

These copies are very limited. Will you pick one up? Let us know in the comments.
