A recent Heroes of the Storm leak on Adriacraft revealed images of the game’s client, which seems to be in Alpha development, but shows us the various ins and outs. Shortly after that a list of heroes was also leaked online, which added several new names to the ones we already knew of through last year’s BlizzCon event.
The login screen comes with all the standard configurations to tweak your graphics, sound, voice, controls, gameplay and social settings. A separate tab gives you the freedom to tinker with the game’s hotkeys. The game looks to come with a built in color-blind mode, which is pretty efficient of the developers.
As for the new heroes, they include Sgt. Hammer, Tychus, Zeratul and Muradin. The leak also boasted the description and base stats of all the heroes, 23 in total. Such fineness could suggest that a beta might be on the way for Heroes of the Storm, where we will be able to try out all of these characters.
The content of the heroes is too much to be pasted here, so you can head over to WoW Insider, who first noted the leak yesterday.
Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard’s take on the recent MOBA popularity. The company calls it a Hero Brawler and features heroes from Blizzard’s Diablo, Warcraft and StarCraft franchises. The game is going to be free-to-play and will feature micro-transactions.
